Plastering Complete

The plastering is now complete on the living room. We got the ceiling and both side walls skimmed. The condition of the end walls were fine and with a bit of elbow grease, we (mostly Dave) got the old paint off without damaging the wall underneath.

It was completed in two days and thankfully we just left the plasterer to it and went to work.

The plaster is still drying a little in places such as where the fireplace was filled in and the old door. It has been over a week now and it is almost dry. Hopefully we will be able to get the base coat paint on this week. We do have a slight crack to deal with on the ceiling, but I don't think that will take too much work.
