Extension: Week 12

We are getting to the part of the build where we can now do bits ourselves which is definitely helping with morale!

We have taken up the vinyl tiles that were stuck to the floor. They were well stuck down and took quite a lot of effort to get up.  

The walls in the extension have now been plastered and waiting for them to dry out so we can get painting! 

 

It was quite a difficult decision on picking colours for the walls as I wanted to stay away from anything grey! We already have a grey bedroom, living room and bathroom so didn't want more grey walls! Our kitchen cabinets are also going to be a light grey so after 9 samples, we went with the top left one below. It It is still very much white but with a hint of something!  

 

We have picked out laminate flooring, this will be a natural oak effect! Picked up 26 boxed from BnQ - back breaking but a good work out!!
