Extension Week 3 & 4!

We are already in to the fourth week of our build! It is going a lot quicker than I thought it would. This week we have really started to see what the extension will look like and the extra room it will give! 

We now have the super structure almost fully built with the inner and outer skin of the block work to completed this Friday. The floor joists have gone in, along with the pipe work for our new drain for the bathroom.We then have the roof being started on Monday! 

 

Inside the house, we have had our new boiler put in ready along with the pipe work for our sink. The electricians are hoping to do their first fix in a couple of weeks, once the house is a bit more water tight! 

The builders have started to knock through in to the existing house, so now we have an even bigger bit of plywood filling the hole! 

Looking forward to seeing the roof on and being one step closer to having a working kitchen again!
